Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is a fan of Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas, and every form of drama. Ana began to learn how to play the piano and sing from an early age, along alongside her mother. The formal vocal training when she was 16 years old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. While a student, and being a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choruses. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer in classical Latin American music at private events. She is passionate about singing, music as well as the arts keeps active in community projects both as an artist and teacher. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able be able to share her love for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes to encourage younger generations to keep the tradition alive.
