Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish Pop/Flamenco artist. When she was a teenager she sang with traditional as well as popular music. Her singing interests have broadened to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Habichuela has said that her voice as crisp and sweet but having a bit of bite. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The release date was the 20th of March, 2022 following the performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was first Spanish artist to perform as a solo performer on the show. As well as winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
