Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress best known for the films Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career in the late 1980s, and rose to popularity with her role in Tezaab, a film in which she was a part of the cast with the veteran actor Anil Kapoor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir on Dil. She was born into a Mumbai middle class family and started dancing in her early years. In her early years, when she started acting as a young actor, the majority of films she created were not successful. In the end, she was one of the top actresses from Indian film. After her wedding, she took a career break before reentering the film industry. Recently, she was a key player as a character in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. She was also honored with her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian award in India. She has also been recognized for her efforts in the social sector.
